Blockchains are revolutionary, but they are not entirely new. Instead, they borrow from various technologies and plug commonly used tools together in a way that aligns incentives of its participants in a way that ensures a stable and decentralized network. Learn all about nodes, proof-of-work, merkle trees, coinbases and hash functions.
